Showcasing IoT this year using Bluetooth beacon technology, the app delivers a richer and more streamlined delegate experience than ever before. Your smart phone or tablet will detect signals from the beacons placed around the conference area when you are within range to register you automatically for your various scheduled sessions and meetings. Using only Bluetooth (and not GPS, wi-fi or cellular positioning) the app will not track delegates after the event or in private spaces, protecting your privacy.

Using the app and enabling location sharing and Bluetooth gives you the benefit of fast-track registration when you arrive, the ability to find colleagues around the venue and to locate the people you are due to meet. You can opt-in and out of location sharing at any time simply by turning Bluetooth off, though we recommend you leave it on to get the maximum benefit.

The app is essential for delegates, as it also enables you to: manage your personal agenda; rate the sessions; track your ranking in the CCF championship, identify and chat with other delegates, manage your profile and gallery photos; and receive all the key notifications and information updates. Your forum login and password are required to use the app.
